Who we are

White Glove Janitorial Construction and Placement Agency, trading as White Glove Janitorial and Construction, of Wain Road, Port Antonio, Portland, Jamaica, registered with the Companies Office of Jamaica under business registration number 1169/2022. What this website collects

Nothing that identifies you personally. This site has no accounts, no newsletter sign-up and no advertising cookies. We do not sell or share anything with anyone, and we never build a profile of you.

We do count visits, so that we know which pages are worth keeping. That is done with Google Analytics. No cookie is stored on your device unless you agree to it, and either way we only ever see totals.

Visitor statistics, and your choice

The first time you arrive, a bar at the bottom of the screen asks whether you are willing to be counted.

• If you choose “Decline” — nothing is stored on your device, and we cannot recognise you if you come back. The page you opened is still added to an anonymous running total, which cannot be linked to you, to your device, or to any other visit.
• If you choose “Accept” — Google Analytics records which pages you looked at, roughly which part of the world you are in, and whether you used a phone or a computer.
• We also count how many people tap the call, WhatsApp, email and request-form buttons — as totals, never tied to a person.

Until you answer, nothing is stored on your device. Your answer is remembered in your own browser so you are not asked again, and we ask afresh every twelve months. To change your mind sooner, clear this site’s data in your browser settings and the question will appear again on your next visit.

We see totals and trends only. We cannot see your name, your phone number, your exact address, or match a visit to a particular person — and we do not try to.

You can read every page, browse both divisions and use the request builder without giving us any information at all.

The request builder

The “Build your request” tool on the home page assembles your selections into a message inside your own browser. Nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to open WhatsApp and send it yourself. If you close the page without sending, your selections are gone — we never see them.

When you contact us

If you call, message us on WhatsApp or send an email, we will hold whatever you choose to tell us — typically your name, contact details and a description of your property or the work you need. We use it only to answer you, quote for the work, and carry out any job you go on to book.

We keep enquiry and client records for as long as we need them to run the business and to meet Jamaican tax and record-keeping requirements. We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for marketing.

Other companies involved

• Google Analytics — Google receives your visit data and processes it on our behalf. If you accept, Google sets its own cookies so a return visit can be recognised. If you decline, no cookies are set and your visit is counted anonymously, with nothing that could identify you or link it to another visit.
• Google Fonts — the typefaces on this site load from Google’s servers, which means Google receives your IP address when a page loads. Google’s own privacy terms apply.
• Google Maps — the contact page embeds a map, which loads from Google’s servers and means Google receives your IP address when that page opens. Google’s own privacy terms apply.
• WhatsApp (Meta) — if you use a WhatsApp button, the conversation happens on WhatsApp under Meta’s terms and privacy policy, not ours.
• Our website host — like every web host, it keeps standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, for security and reliability.

Your rights

Under Jamaica’s Data Protection Act you may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and in certain circumstances ask us to delete it. Contact us on any of the numbers above and we will deal with it.

Changes to this notice

We will update this page when what we do changes. In particular, this notice will need revising before we add online forms, job applications or payments to the site — each of those collects information that we do not collect today.
